Hazard Analysis Methodology
CSL Hazard Analysis methodology includes the following activities:
1. Hazard identification
2. Hazard risk assessment
3. Hazard analysis. This activity includes:
Coaching our client's teams in hazard analysis techniques and helping them learn and implement techniques within their organization
Determination of potential causes of hazards
Requirements review focusing on safety requirements and safety-net functions
4. Hazard Mitigation and Control
5. Safety Verification including hazard-driven safety testing
6. Residual Risk Assessment
7. Safety Case or Safety Report Development
Upon
clients' requests, CSL provides document templates such as Safety
Management Plan, Hazard Analysis document, Hazard Log, Safety Case
template, etc. CSL can also work towards enhancing the templates
already in use by your organization.
CSL contributes either
to the full cycle of the hazard analysis or provides specific input for one
of the hazard analysis activities e.g., facilitation of hazard
identification or a review of the safety case.
CSL expertise
includes the estimation of the overall hazard analysis effort using the
relevant factors of your projects and metrics from our past projects.
